A graduate from the Class of '55 and a founding member of the URI Hockey Club Program, the former chairman of A.T Cross has been the inspiration and support behind its recent success. In addition to his significant donation toward the building of the on-campus rink that now deservedly bears his name, Bradford R. Boss has continued to provide the necessary funding for URI to maintain their championship caliber of play. Coincidental with the team's initial undefeated ECHA Championship season and ACHA Final Four performance in 2003-2004, the player voted by his teammates as the Most Valuable Player of the Year henceforth became the proud recipient of the Bradford R Boss Award.
